Tuesday 2nd June - walks *** – Around Felixstowe – rain in the morning then sunny with passing storm.

Woke to rain in fact it had been quite heavy in the night as our water butt was full, Mag was chuffed so no early walk today. I had arranged to take our daughter in law Jay’s cat Pepsi to the vet at 9 so I headed out at 8.15 in the rain to take a few weather pics and was chuffed when Elizabeth Rizzini used one on the BBC National weather:) I picked up Jay and took her to the vet in Trimley, Pepsi was not pleased and was very vocal! It was near the station so I took a few pics on the platform and was lucky enough to see a couple of train! Then after dropping Jay back home I took the scenic route down Gulpher Road to The Ferry just in time to see the old barge I spotted yesterday while out windsurfing sailing past the jetty and got some nice pics before heading home for breakfast. Mag continues to potter in the garden which has gone bonkers while I do my exercises in the garden, I make yummy cheese on toast for lunch in the garden as the sun has made an appearance and it is now pretty warm. With our old friend not feeling well we had arranged to meet Jay and Maeva at a local gallery where Maeav had some artwork and Mag manged to find a couple of wasijg puzzles in a charity shop, we had got there along Felixstowe prom which was very pleasant with some top clouds with some dark ones inland where there was loads of thunder and lightning which bypassed Felixstowe! We all walked back to our house for a cuppa and biscuits before taking Maeva and Jay home. Once again I went the Gulpher Road way where there was an impressive bank of black cloud! A quick stop at Felixstowe Ferry and home for tea!
